Linking Resilience to Planning and Engagement

This workshop will focus on how to integrate resilience projects into daily planning and decision-making processes, with an emphasis on engaging community stakeholders to build support and buy-in. Better connections and partnerships with communities can mobilize resilience actions. Integrated planning, linking disaster, climate, and social resilience, can then become a platform for implementation among the regional and local community stakeholders. Speakers from the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, FEMA, and innovative engagement firms will highlight case studies of political, private sector, and resilience success stories that illuminate promising approaches. Lunch will be served at this workshop.

This workshop has now reached in-person capacity. If you would still like to participate, you can join us via webinar here. The call-in number will be (712) 432-6100, pin 242585#. The workshop will also be audio recorded and posted online.
